Around 1am today my father informed me that my step-brother Cody has been killed in a car accident. I wasn't very close to Cody, but we were friendly to each other and I've known him since I was 13 I think. I was sad when Dad told me, but then when I heard Diana (my step-mother/Cody's mother) start to wail in the background, my heart hurt. Parent's shouldn't have to go thru their children dying. I feel so bad for her. I'm glad that Cody was here over the holidays and everyone got to see him and spend time with him. Please everyone pray or send good thoughts to my step-mother and her family as they have to go thru this heart-breaking time.
