I am glad I didn't buy it. I didn't like it as much as I had hoped. Emma Roberts was too young for the part, she didn't even look like she was old enough to drive. Also they deviated from the story line of the books. I used to LOVE reading those books! The story was cute though.

i decided not to see it because it was pg-13.
nancy drew books are G rated. and that's how the movie should be.

did it say why it was rated PG-13?
It might have been for violence, which there actually was quite a bit of in the books.

ah ok, I didn't look and didn't pay attention. Soon enough I shall though!
I don't think it was as "violent" as the books are.
